It’s every young actor’s dream to make an impact like Kamal Haasan. And everyone watching ‘Engeyum Kadhal’ will call ‘Jayam’ Ravi as Kamal, for it is his name in the Prabhu Deva-directed film.

“What better name than Kamal could be given to the hero of a romantic entertainer? This is one of the reasons behind Prabhu Deva zeroing in on the name for Jayam Ravi’s character,” according to sources.

Produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram’s AGS Entertainment, ‘Engeyum Kadhal’, a Harris Jayaraj musical, will be released worldwide this Friday by Sun Pictures, who are already marketing the film in a big way.

“A candifloss love story, the film will be welcomed by youngsters in a big way. Prabhu Deva’s directorial touches have added more attraction to the script. It will be an important movie in Ravi’s career.”
